Friday, 27 January marked the International Day of Remembrance to commemorate the many victims of the Holocaust. The 4th and 5th High School also addressed the background of these terrible events of the Second World War as part of an intensive project day and paid tribute to the countless victims. The diligent and interested pupils worked in groups on various topics and presented their findings to each other. In the afternoon, they watched the film ‘Schindlers List’ together and discussed it in class during the history lesson. The pupils now know what ‘stumbling stones’ are and will gladly explain them to you if you ask.
