Every year there are two classes, and each class is led by a class teacher who is the first reference
point for all of the parents’ requests. Pupils attend school every day from 08.30 to 16.00; on
Wednesdays classes end at 13.00, but at the request of the parents the time can be extended until
16.00. In 1st grade the pupils learn to read and write in a parallel way in both German and Italian.
The main language of the elementary school is German, but from the beginning the pupils also have
Italian lessons. In grades 3-5, English is added to the two main languages of the school. In all classes,
pupils learn and work under the guidance of mother tongue teachers.
